What happens during a therapy session?

Your session will be tailored specifically to you and your unique needs. So, sessions will look different for each person, couple, or family. In general, you can expect to talk about what’s going on in your life presently, your personal history and how it relates to your current struggles. We’ll also talk about various resources available for you and evaluate our progress each week. And depending on the issues you’re dealing with, we may have you work on developing skills outside of our session.

Those who will not slip beneath / the still surface on the well of grief / turning downwards through its black water / to the place we cannot breathe / will never know the source from which we drink, / the secret water, cold and clear, / nor find in the darkness glimmering / the small round coins / thrown by those who wished for something else.
